Job description
The Membership Coordinator is based out of Doak Campbell Stadium/Champion's Club at FSU in Tallahassee, FL and reports to the Membership Manager. The Membership Coordinator will be the first point of contact for members entering the Club.
Essential Job Functions
- Greets persons entering establishment, determines nature of business and announces members and guests to appropriate personnel.
- Anticipates member reservations and warm greeting by name.
- Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/e-mail
- Monitors members and guests access.
- Monitor front desk supplies and notify manager when needs replenishment.
- Address member concerns or issues effectively with a sense of urgency and politeness.
- Adept at managing and prioritizing multiple tasks throughout the day.
- Ensures cleanliness of front desk, lobby and other surrounding areas.
- Attends to members needs in regards to coat check and other special requests.
- Communicate effectively with guests, all levels of management and co-workers.
- Build good relationship and report with members to make them feel comfortable and address any complaints they might have in a very courteous manner to protect the image of the club.
- Assists with other administrative duties as assigned by manager.

- Excellent customer service
- Experience with social media platforms and Canva or similar programs

- Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; creates and builds positive and productive relationships
- Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly
- Ability to manage appropriate steps to get projects completed; has strong abilities to organize people and processes; can create a plan for resourceful workflow
- Can manage people and resources to get projects completed; has a strong ability to multi-task and keep order.
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel.
Required Qualifications:
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards.
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced, team orientated setting
- Must be speak, read, and write in English
- Must be available to work an irregular schedule
- Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1 year experience in a high-volume area.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, use of hands to handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds;
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision
Environmental Working Conditions:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
