Pearl Health Center is seeking a full time (part time okay too) Mental Health Therapist to provide onsite mental health counseling to our patient population. Pearl Health Center is a patient-centered medical home and believes in an integrated model of health care. A Mental Health Therapist’s role in a patient-center medical home is vital to the overall health of patients. The Mental Health Therapist would be conducting mental health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, leading individual therapy sessions, as well as providing behavioral health assessments and interventions for patients who have a comorbid diagnosis. This individual provides expertise on psychosocial issues, mental health, trauma, and strategies on facilitating behavioral changes for the patient. Pearl Health Center’s Mental Health Therapists work independently, yet collaborate with Primary Care Providers, Acupuncturist, and a Chiropractor to provide the patients with the best integrated care possible.

COVID 19 precautions and accommodations: Mental Health sessions at Pearl Health Center are still conducted in person, with the option for the client to make use of telehealth appointments. Many patients/clients prefer in-clinic appointments as the in-person human connection is an important aspect of the therapeutic process and an aspect of life that has been nonexistent for many the last 24 months. About 50% of clients choose to have in-clinic appointments. All patients that enter the clinic are screened for COVID like symptoms at check-in. If the patient/client presents with any symptoms the appointment will be changed to a telehealth appointment until the patient is symptom free.

Applicant needs to have a Master's level degree in psychology, social work or related field and an active LPC, LPC-I, LCSW, CSWA, LMFT, MFT-I

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
