Merchandise Processor / Data Entry
7:00AM-3:30PM

The Merchandise Processor / Data entry is an entry-level position that works in a fast pace enviroment where you and your peers will prepare and move merchandise through our Renewal workshop.

What you'll do:

• Perform data entry, review fabric, repair damaged clothe, stocking, picking, packing, counting, loading, and unloading, housekeeping and safety functions
• Ensure consistency in the quality of your work while meeting performance metrics in assigned work areas while creating a positive customer experience
• Collaborate with leaders/team members through constructive feedback to support process improvements and cost reductions
• Works under direct supervision and follows standard operating procedures to accomplish assigned tasks
• Ability to work in multiple departments as assigned while meeting performance metrics

• Ability to learn standard operating procedures acquired through on-the-job training, to include operating steamer, iron, sewing machine

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs while displaying safe working behaviors
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, stretch, and walk for up to 10 hours per workday
• Ability to twist, push, pull and lift above shoulder level
• Ability to read small print and have good comprehension
• Must have basic computer skills
• Experience using an RF Scan Gun
• Ability to work independently as part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remain flexible to change, and willing to move around to other areas
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
• Excellent attendance is required, and you must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the warehouse areas. PPE will include closed toed shoes and reflective vests along with any other necessary protection. Temperatures in the warehouse can range a great deal from season to season. Candidates may be required to work with light cleaning materials/solutions to clean the product
