Job Description
As a Micro-Farm Installation Technician, you’re often the first face our customers see. You will safely and efficiently install Micro-Farms and serve as an ambassador of sorts to our clients across the US. You’ll also use your technical skills to perform service visits on customer farms, ensuring both that the main issue is resolved and the farm is otherwise in top shape. When not out in the field, you’ll help with farm component assembly, or perform other duties.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and install Babylon Micro-Farms nationwide
- Perform routine maintenance on farms and troubleshoot technical problems
- Assemble components and/or Micro-Farms as needed in the factory
- Thoroughly document work performed at customer locations
- Perform upgrades as needed, both in the factory and on-site at customer locations
- Follow Babylon workflows and work schedules
- Ensure the safety of yourself and others by following Health and Safety regulation and guidelines
Requirements
- Keen attention to detail and a stickler for safety
- Cooperative, professional attitude
- Confident and comfortable working alone as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to drive a delivery truck (e.g., 16’ box truck)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently, overnight on occasion
- Ability to work on step ladder safely
- Ability to use power tools safely
- Fluent in English
It's a bonus if you have
- Manufacturing or assembly experience
- An interest in agriculture, sustainability and/or nutrition
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Google Apps proficiency or ability to quickly learn (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

- $18-$20/hour starting salary
