JBE Tutoring (www.jbe-t.com) is an in-home private tutoring business in all academic areas, k-adults.

We are looking to hire an IN-PERSON middle and high school math (algrbra1&2, geometry, and calculus) and science (biology, chemistry and physics) tutor to tutor students at their home in the Tenafly area (zip code 07670)

Applicable to college students (at least junior year) but an advantage for those who are teachers/certified

The tutor is required to assist students in one or more of the above-mentioned academic subjects.

Tutoring sessions are after school hours and depend on the students’ needs.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience teaching students privately or at a school.

Legally work in the USA (citizen/green card/valid working permit). We do not provide working permits.

Tutoring schedule: weekdays Monday-Friday (each student has a different schedule).

Additional information:

Qualified candidates will need to provide the following prior to hiring:

A link to a video introducing themselves and what are their teaching strengths;

At least two references;

Teaching certificate and their degree in education;

Candidates will go through an initial screening process via a phone interview then the next phase will be a one-on-one interview/skype/FaceTime/Zoom;

Tutors will undergo background checks

Compensation:

$30.00 - $50.00 /hour DOE
