Under direction of the Manufacturing Manager, a Mixer Operator IIis responsible for the production and packaging of products in bulk form as well as customer specific packaging. The role blends materials by following job work instructions by using various mixers and mixing techniques.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED)
  • 3+ years of related mixing/blending experience and/or training required
  • 1st shift, hours ranging 7:00am – 3:30pm (may vary depending on training schedule)
  • Forklift training & license required
  • Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs
  • Basic math skills for measuring, counting and weighing is a must
  • Basic mechanical ability to work with hand tools to set up, adjust and disassemble equipment
  • Must be self-directed, able work independently within the fast-paced production environment and comfortable performing repetitious tasks
  • Works responsibly and follow all safety and security procedures

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of a Mixer Operator I successfully.

  • Proficiently operate all ResinLab production equipment while meeting or exceeding expected production rates and quality requirements.

  • Provide high level process improvement ideas and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts.

  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of product chemistry along with associated process implications. (e.g. temperature constraints, light sensitivity, etc.)

  • Able to represent ResinLab production and actively participate as a member of a cross-functional team (e.g. Safety, Lean, 5S, etc.)

  • Actively participate in training Mixer Operator I personnel.
