Job description

HCL is seeking a dynamic MSSQL Server Database Administrator- Team Lead.

Previous experience in Healthcare Information Technology is highly preferred. Knowledge of Medicaid Management Information Systems and relevant Medicaid regulations and metrics would be ideal.

Must oversee team operations and tasks, identify and address team weaknesses while leveraging team strengths.

Collaborate with the team to monitor, test and follow best practices for database management.

Must be able to supervise and provide guidance during the debugging process.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that opportunities for improvement can be realized

Tune MSSQL features to ensure the best possible performance of databases. Create and analyze all needed reports based on performance data and make necessary recommendations

Participate in 24 hour seven day a week on-call support rotation with other skilled team members from the same area.
