Job description
Purpose:
To provide organ and / or piano music for Mass services each Sunday between 9:00am-10:00am and other church functions including weddings and funerals.
Job Performance Requirements: 1. Provide organ and piano music in a professional manner for all Mass services and all seasonal and special services.
2. Provide organ and piano music for weddings and funerals and be permitted to receive additional compensation from the parties involved. The use of the organ or piano by a guest musician may be done by special arrangement.
3. Facilitate and Schedule Cantors for hymns selections and rehearsals.
4. Select music in advance of each Mass, for printing in the bulletin
5. Work with choir to organize and activate the Choir, who have sung at Palm Sunday, Easter, Christmas and Special Masses, so that they are ale to sing during solemnities throughout the year.
