Job description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assist with event production including, but not limited to, agenda design, speaker/facilitator preparation and management, slide deck creation and development, polling question management and virtual meeting management.
- Communicate with our external production vendors to solicit RFP’s, evaluate quotes and ensure client expectations are being met throughout the planning process.
- Create and manage event run of show documents and work with external production company to provide technical direction for events, both in-person and virtual.
- Assist with development of Cvent registration websites, event apps in RSM Conferences mobile app, and other Cvent functionality.
- Assist with managing on-site execution of events as necessary.
- Assist with tracking event finances including check requests, invoicing, reporting and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficient skill level in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Required.
- Proficient with virtual delivery platforms and how to optimize them to support attendee engagement, including WebEx, Zoom, etc.
- Cvent experience for this position is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with production support for meetings and events, both in person and virtual.
- Ability to work on multiple projects effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
- Attention to detail with superior customer service and high expectations for quality.
- Professional, pleasant demeanor and ability to build relationships with colleagues and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and oral and strong proof-reading skills.
