Oasis Financial is looking for a Negotiations & Collections Specialist to add to our dynamic Servicing team. This role is responsible for reviewing incoming client requests for negotiations and managing the collections portfolio for targets to be reached. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to meet and exceed monthly targets. Each Negotiations & Collections Specialist will be crossed trained for other servicing roles to help meet business demands as needed. Compensation includes a base salary and monthly incentives aligned with results.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (percentages are approximate and are subject to change):

• Works alongside our business development teams building rapport, developing and fostering relationships with our attorney clients to maintain an updated portfolio.
• Calls attorneys and paralegals to initiate payback and negotiation conversations -- 50% of the position.
• Calls attorneys and paralegals to follow up on payments -- 25%
• Executes other duties such as drafting correspondence, working with other departments, special portfolio analysis projects, regulatory compliance, etc. as needed -- 25% of the position

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous sales, account management, or customer service experience required
• Paralegal or legal background is a plus, but not required
• Self-motivated and desire to build great relationships and exceed monthly goals
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to handle interactions with attorneys and sales people
• Sound decision-making ability and proactive problem-solving
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage professional and executive relationships
• Dependable, professional and good work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with specific set business goals and monthly quotas
• Proficient in Windows system and Microsoft Office
