Duration: 12 Months (contract to hire)

Actual Job Title: Network Administrator
High pace and highly visible role. 100% Remote. Contactor will be work directly under Sr. Principal Engineer.
Candidate: MUST have real world experience managing and configuring network devices via command lines, routing/Switching, LAN/WAN Experience, IP address management (IPAM), and DHCP/DNS are all requirements. Candidates with only virtual lab experience is not sufficient.

Education: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience; Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience; In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Any of the following certifications are a plus:
* CCNA/CCNP
* A+
* Net+
* Sec+
* Firewalls
* VPN Technology
* NAC – Network Access Control

Job Description
The Network Administrator is a technical member of the Network Services team supporting an international enterprise. The successful candidate will have a customer focused mind set while deploying and maintaining technology-based solutions to empower internal business customers to achieve company objectives. Principal Responsibilities:

• Experience in complex changes in a production environment requiring interfacing with non-technical business entities to remediate IP address conflicts within a large scale enterprise.
• Firm understanding of LAN/WAN technologies with a focus on the Cisco hardware platform
• Ability to communicate in technical and non-technical settings
• Understanding of ticketing systems – ServiceNow, Jira, etc
• Technology focused mindset with the ability to interface with internal customers for complex problem resolution
• Experience monitoring network environments with integrated tools like Solarwinds, Infoblox, etc
• Comfortable in configuration and deployment of network hardware to support business needs
• Comfortable performing RMA replacement activities with vendors
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in documentation of network infrastructure
• Ability to uphold and implement previously documented standard and procedures in everyday work.
• Inventory and asset management
• Ability to travel as needed for enterprise efforts
