Summary
This IT/Network Manager position will be responsible for the execution and oversight of IT operations including the maintenance of technology infrastructure as well as IT protocols and policies. The IT Manager will be responsible for the design and implementation of IT and Security systems and policies, ensuring systems functionality and uptime across all locations. The IT Manager will assist in data collection and data management and integration of all current systems. This is a highly cross-functional role and will require collaboration with leaders across all company departments.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing IT and Security department strategic plans
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, applications and networks
- Develop and implement security protocols and policies to protect company data and assets
- Establish, maintain and continuously improve the internal service desk program to address enterprise IT issues
- Plan, execute, evaluate and improve upon the rollout of routine updates, enhancements and fixes
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure technology needs are met.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, tracking and reporting for IT department and Capital Expenditure projects, including monitoring and controlling costs, ensuring adherence to schedule and execution of scope
- Ensuring the implementation of and adherence to company IT policies and procedures, local, state and federal regulations and State regulations.
- Recruit, hire, train and develop outside vendors to achieve company IT objectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data collection and analysis systems, ensuring completeness, accuracy and efficiency.
- Assume responsibility for the identification of problems affecting people, process or products within supervised activities and recommending solutions
- Representing the company for external and internal events
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and security trends and make recommendations for improvements
- Oversee vendors, supply sourcing, and shipping partners to control costs, maintain uptime and reduce interruptions.
- Maintain critical parts inventory
- Implement and ensure the use of internal communication tools to promote transparent and sufficient intercompany communication
- Exemplify company culture and participate in cultural initiatives to promote employee retention.
- Assist with the adoption of modern network infrastructure capabilities (i.e., Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN), Software-Defined Perimeter (SDP), Software-Defined Networks (SDN), visibility fabric, etc.)
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments based on leading frameworks
- Manage and strengthen MS 0365 security to ensure that all applications are functional and secure
- Provide technology consulting support to the Chief Security Officer in setting the policy, strategic plan, and operational plans for the IT computer network, systems, and databases.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT management role
- Advanced computer skills, in depth knowledge of various operating systems, network administration and service desk administration
- High degree of expertise in computer systems (Dutchie/Leaflogix, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office 365, Tableau, etc)
- Ability to work in extremely fast paced and highly accountable environment
- Experience with network security, data collection, data analysis, data management
- Experience in risk management, vulnerability testing and incident response - elaborate and help me understand more about these
- Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with retail and manufacturing companies preferred
- Knowledge of industry standard technology and security practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
