About The NextGen Development Consultant Position

The TempDev Development Consultant should have full knowledge of NextGen EHR, EHR clinical workflow, Template Editor and Document Builder. The consultant should also have an understanding of the NextGen Database & SQL. Experience with Crystal Reports, SSRS, and documentation/technical writing is recommended.

Job Description:

  • Template development and report development
  • Develop custom SQL stored procedures and queries
  • Document current and future-state clinical workflows
  • Support NextGen users, including implementation of ongoing maintenance
  • Work with project leadership to develop and complete project tasks
  • Confidently troubleshoot issues with templates, stored procedures, and documents
  • Other tasks requested by manager

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years in NextGen EPM and/or EHR system development experience
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Creativity and analytical ability to solve problems in a variety of client situations, roles and environments
  • Willing to go the extra mile to get the job done (and done well)
  • Extensive experience working with KBM/ACE content from a development perspective
  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • Experience using SSRS
  • NCP Certification in EHR or EPM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,000.00 - $103,000.00 per year
