Night Auditor/Front Desk Associate

The Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham is looking for an OverNight Auditor to join our team immediately. We’re looking for an ambitious,hardworking professional. The Auditor will be responsible for all safety of our guests as well as the Hotel. The ideal applicant should be capable of working alone with no one to assist him or her with basic functions, such as checking guests in and out, answering phones, reconciling accounts, communicating with housekeeping and taking initiative for necessary tasks.
A flexible schedule and a willingness to work overtime when necessary are essential Weekends and Holidays are a must.
- Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and provide them with any information they need to enjoy their stay.
- Audit and balance reports from the day shifts. Run Audit.
- Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day.
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed.
- Answer phones and place reservations.
- Put breakfast out daily
- Balance cash drawers and record receipts
- Facilitate the deposit of guests’ valuables in hotel safe
- Ability to learn computer functions and other on-the-job skills.
2+ years’ experience in customer service or hospitality
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Hotel Experience: 2 years (Required)
- Front Desk: 1 year (Required)
