NIght Baker / Packer
Zaro's Family Bakery currently has opportunities on our Night Bake Off team in our Elmsford NY production facility. Shift is Sunday - Thursday 5pm - 2am
Experience is not necessary, we will train the right individual however some familiarity with food handling is preferred and prior production bakery experience is a big plus!
Job Duties:
Pack and prepare pastries and baked goods in accordance with Zaro production plan for the day.

- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions including any qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance
- Ability to perform job functions in hot and/or cold environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Incumbent may be required to squat, reach, bend, pull, push, or be otherwise physically engaged in the course of their shift
General Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Comprehend and Follow packing instructions
- Ability to read English
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Keep work area clean and ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written
- Able to multi task and work with a sense of urgency
