DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
  • Proactively assist customers by providing information, support, and services.
  • Accurately completes sales transactions in-person or virtually via online orders.
  • Engages in consistent, open communication with customers, peers, and supervisors.
  • Accurately performs system transactions for inventory and sales.
  • Organizes materials and information to meet customer needs.
  • Maintains departmental lists, databases, customer profiles, process documents, and resource materials.
  • Maintains area inventory including performing cycle-counts and ordering of products & supplies.
  • Compiles and prepares daily and month-end reporting.
  • Within guidelines, maintains and updates store merchandise displays, including product launch displays.
  • Operates and maintains office equipment and basic warehouse equipment.
  • Performs housekeeping and maintains area organization and appearance.
  • Identifies solutions to improve service and operational effectiveness.
  • Performs tasks in accordance with training, safety, and operational guidelines.
  • Maintains accurate cash controls and reconciliations including deposit preparations when applicable.
  • Assists with various projects outside of core responsibilities within the department when needed.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
  • Two to three years of retail, customer service or related experience; strong customer service abilities.
  • MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word & Outlook required).
  • Experience with Point of Sale, cash handling, and basic math skills.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills including knowledge of professional grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Experience with or ability to learn operation of a pallet-jack.
  • Preferred experience: Powerpoint, Access, Oracle systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
