Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Non-Destructive Evaluations (NDE) Engineer III located at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL.

TRAVEL:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• 5 years of related experience

SECURITY CLEARANCE: (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree
CERTIFICATIONS: NDE engineers must maintain ASNT Level II certifications for various nondestructive testing methods.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Experienced (Non-Manager)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position is considered a mid-level engineering position. Typical responsibilities include designing and developing plans, processes, and procedures; functional and data requirements analyses; system analyses; documentation preparation for complex systems; and non-destructive evaluations (NDE).
• NDE engineers must maintain ASNT Level II certifications for various nondestructive testing methods.
• May be required to provide guidance to less experienced engineers. Engineering disciplines include mechanical, electrical, aerospace, propulsion, structures, materials, corrosion, nondestructive evaluation thermal, fluids, chemical, computer, software, avionics, environmental, industrial, civil, systems, safety, quality, and reliability.
