Wurth Baer Supply Company is currently seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our New England Region. (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT, NY)
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will provide direction, leadership and practical guidance in facilitating success in WBSC’s sales growth, business development, and profitability objectives. Lead and guide Outside Sales Representatives (OSRs) in successfully developing their territories.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales representatives in exceeding their sales and profit goals and becoming best-in-class sales professionals
- Implement the development and communication of WBSC’s sales growth, business growth, and gross margin objectives
- Lead the design and execution of goals, strategies, initiatives and programs for the region.
- Provide insight and direction in WBSC’s strategic planning, budget preparation and general business management processes
- Participate in the evaluation and execution of key decisions to ensure WBSC’s short and long-term growth and profitability
- Actively participate in ‘Ride-Alongs’ with the OSRs, mentoring, coaching and assisting them in their day-to-day sales activities
- Design and execute appropriate strategies and action plans in based on potential sales and business development opportunities and risks
- Facilitate synergistic linkages between sales, customer service, logistics, inventory services, finance and other support functions
Requirements
- Ten (10) years of demonstrated success in outside sales experience, preferably in the woodworking or industrial/distribution arena.
- Five (5) years of sales management experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
