We are looking for Nurses who can help our clients with a range of tasks including health education, medication management and monitoring, and temporary care in emergency circumstances. Nurse part-time

10a-6p, 7 days a week

Client is a male, quadriplegic and has no mobility.

Ct follows a bowel program and has a urostomy that will need occasionally changed and adjusted. He also has a foley bag to empty. Hi. Please make sure Mr. Gholston's foley bag is positioned lower than the bladder to prevent urine from backing up or infection. Suction and cough assist. The client has a trachea.

Client takes oral medications 4 times/day and insulin 2 times per day. CT has an app on his phone to monitor his glucose. Please record in his personal book. Client is bed bound. If he is going out anywhere it will be a 2 person assist. His days are self-directed based on his need. He will need blood glucose checked, insulin given based on sliding scale, cough assist, urostomy emptied, Illiostomy flushed, enema bowel program, bed bath, spoon fed, meal prep, pulled up in bed, any medications given. Please sign the log book and input all information.

Only one piece of gauze under the G-tube. Too much gauze will cause additional pressure and it will leak.

Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication to patients.
• Provide basic health care for patients.
• Do home health assessments for patients.
• Observe patients to detect changes in their health status.
• Perform wound care and dressings.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
