We're seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing organization. The qualified candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in urgent care, including diagnosing illnesses and prescribing treatments as well as patient communication. Our Nurse Practitioner will have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and the flexibility to perform various functions in the urgent care area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complete physical exams for patients.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries.
- Sterilize instruments before use.
- Communicate with other medical providers regarding patient status.
- Help patients manage symptoms of chronic diseases including diabetes and hypertension.
- Coordinate care with primary care physician and specialists.
- Communicate with patients about treatment and medications.
