As part of our mission to change the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day, Easterseals is currently seeking Occupational Therapist Independent Contractors to provide online and in-person services for charter schools students. Scheduling is flexible and based upon your availability, mileage reimbursement with in-person services and with no caseload minimums.

Positions are for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year, continuing into the extended school year (ESY) and into the following school years.

Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:

· Current Pennsylvania State License as an Occupational Therapist

· PA Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse and FBI Clearance (all clear)

· Mandated and Permissive Reporting in PA Certificate (ACT 126)

· Proof of individual liability insurance

· Tuberculosis Skin Test (TST) One Step

· CPR/First Aid Training certificate

Occupational Therapist Responsibility May Include:

· Completing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students that require occupational therapy.

· Provide occupational therapy online or in-person.

· Provide continued support for student’s Individual Education Plan (IEPs).

· Manage caseloads of occupational therapy students.

· Maintain appropriate records and documentation.

· Perform all related work, documentation and reporting as required by the charter school and Easterseals.
