Abramson Senior Care is currently seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team!
This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to play an essential part in our organizational evolution, as we are currently transforming how we serve our crucial mission to be more aligned with the changing healthcare landscape and needs of today’s seniors. Through our expertise in dementia, person-centered care, palliative care, end-of-life support and the entire aging process, we provide care management, navigation, support, advocacy and education to seniors and their families.
The Office Administrator is responsible for the overall administrative duties of the organization, including answering telephone calls, assisting with management of our Board of Trustees (including Board communications and taking Board meeting minutes), supporting our Donor Services (including donor gift processing and donor communication), providing support for fundraising and stewardship events, and general office management tasks.
Reporting to the President, the Office Administrator position can be a hybrid role, with most work able to be handled remotely. Note that on-location work will be necessary as needed to perform office functions as well as frequently picking up our corporate mail from our PO box in Ambler, PA.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to appropriately handle confidential or highly sensitive information, have strong oral and written communication skills, be well-organized and able to work independently, and have proficiency in a variety of computer software programs (word processing spreadsheets, database, and presentation software). Prior experience with PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Razers Edge, and/or electronic Document Management Systems (DMS) is preferred.
The ideal candidate will also be receptive to new ideas and cross training, with the ability to review processes and implement approved improvements. Strong attention to detail and work ethic are necessary to succeed in this role.
This position requires a minimum of three years of administrative experience; prior experience in Board management is highly desired. Prior work experience in the healthcare or social services industry is not essential, but is highly desirable, as is experience in handling basic human resources related tasks.
