Office Assistant
Job description
We are a concrete and construction company seeking a motivated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the office and assist with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, and responding to inquiries.
2. Sorting and distributing incoming mail.
3. Creating and maintaining job and vendor files.
4. Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
5. Assisting with job tracking and payroll.
6. Generating and updating reports and spreadsheets.
7. Data entry and file maintenance, (new job setups, job assessment, hours tracking and more as needed.
8. Coordinating and scheduling meetings and appointments.
9. General administrative support to owner.
Qualifications:
A. High school diploma or equivalent.
B. 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role.
C. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
D. Familiarity with QuickBooks.
E. Strong organizational skills, both verbal and written
F. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.70 - $21.31 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Circleville, NY 10919: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
