High Plains Senior Care is looking for an Office Assistant to support the team in our Lubbock Office. We are located at 4611 50th street, Suite C Lubbock Texas 79414. Intake and insurance experience preferred. Must be a multitasker. This position can be a fast paced job. High Plains Senior Care home health was started in 2013 in Amarillo Texas. We have grown since that time to 7 locations in Texas. We have been rated a 5 star in quality by CMS for 5 years in a row. Come join this winning team.

Responsibilities- Medical office experience preferred but not required.

A. Available during the agency’s operating hours.
B. Answer Phone Calls
C. Track Hospitalization
D. Build all new admit packs weekly
E. Build all soft files for all new patients
F. Breakdown and store all Discharges in proper area
G. Upload all new case conference communication on Thursday
H. File weekly
I. Translator for Spanish speaking patients if bilingual
J. Any other duty assigned by office manager
K. Keep communication open to all staff and check emails multiply times daily
L. Upload all patient’s information that is turned in from teams and staff daily.
M. Delivery/ pick up of orders that is need
N. Monitor out going patient supplies
O. Process new referral intake P. Insurance verification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
