Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm serving clients across the Americas, is seeking a full-time Office Services Clerk for its New York office. Duties of this position include facilities, mail sorting and delivery, document copying, set up and clean-up of meeting rooms, stocking and cleanup of kitchen areas, maintenance of supply inventory, inner office moves, back up receptionist and special projects as assigned. The successful candidate should be highly motivated with a strong ability to multi-task and be well organized in a fast-paced environment. The working hours will be Monday through Friday, occasional overtime hours are needed. We require a high school diploma and a minimum of five (5) years' related experience, preferably within a law firm environment. GREAT customer service is a MUST. Qualified candidates must be comfortable working on a computer and be able to comfortably lift up to fifty (50) pounds. The ability to develop rapport with employees and maintain strong working relationships is important. Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail and produce accurate and high-quality work product.
