We are seeking an internal or external candidate for an Operational Analyst position to join Zions Bancorporation ETO Risk Management team. The Operational Analyst will play a key role in managing the day-to-day activities of restitution to bank customers. This candidate will use project management skills to ensure various teams stay on track to deliver data required to meet regulatory requirements and timelines for customer restitution.

The Operational Analyst will:
Be responsible to work with various business partners to identify, gather and track information and/or deliverables.
Review and analyze operational and business data, analyze accuracy, and report data as needed.
Review programs, processes, procedures, and making recommendations for improvements and changes to optimize.
Assist with business and operational analysis to impact business results and support management decision making.
Participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of operational business processes and procedures.
Present and share data with other team members and departments.
Be responsible for creating and monitoring reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
Assist with issue and root cause analysis.
Assist in formulating proposals for new procedures and/or processes.
Perform project management functions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience SQL, Excel, and/or other business intelligence and analytics software and query tools.
Financial Institution operations experience desired.
Basic knowledge of data analysis, business process and procedure improvement, systems and project techniques.
Knowledge of department specific processes and procedures.
Requires solid analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to elicit, gather and analysis user needs.
Good presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to function in a consultative role and manage a team or project.
Requires solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
Working knowledge of query tools such as Business Objects, Microsoft Access or other tools to extract information from databases.
Working knowledge of report writing software.
Requires a Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field and some experience in business and data analysis, processes, procedures, multiple technologies, etc. or other directly related experience.
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.

Pay Range:
Operational Analyst III - $75K-$85K

Operational Analyst IV - $90-$102K

Location:
This position can be located at the new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT or 100% remote within the United States.
