This position is responsible for managing all production operations at the McCully Corp facility in Moorpark, CA, which includes managing the daily activities of the plant and is responsible for the proper execution of all tasks associated with safety, quality and plant operations.

What you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for production activities in a manufacturing environment with the goal of optimizing efficiency and resource utilization, increase safety levels, minimize costs, and maintain high quality standards.
- Oversees administration and production staff to ensure daily production demands are consistently met.
- Lead production staff to ensure that production work is accurate, timely and consistent with work instructions and procedures.
- Maintains workflow by monitoring processes; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; implementing cost reductions; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points.
- Maintains quality standards by ensuring that all team members follow all work instructions for each product build.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective daily production schedule. Communicate production schedules to production staff in a timely and effective manner.
- Must be able to effectively drive Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) across the operation, ensuring all products are delivered with the highest quality standards, while maintaining time and budget guidelines.
- Interacts with other functions as necessary to facilitate a collaborative environment that ensures new products, processes, plans, promotions, and service requirements are fulfilled by the operation.
- Uses continuous improvement principles to drive performance improvement.
- Maintain effective working relationships with company employees. Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Coaches the development of a winning (goal achieving) team through recruitment, development, and performance management practices.
- Manages employee performance to establish expectations, monitor, and measure contributions and provide employee feedback, coaching, and instruction as required
- Provides strong leadership and organizational stewardship.
- Resolves and addresses staff concerns by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
Requirements:What you need:
- Demonstrated track record managing manufacturing operations, and achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost performance objectives.
- Experienced leadership and team development skills with a track record of fielding winning teams.
- English - Spanish bi-lingual preferred
- Experience working in ISO 9001 environment, AS9100 experience a strong plus.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Lean Six Sigma implementation desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
- Must be flexible regarding working hours. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ensures that staff is contributing at maximum potential through rigorous hiring practices and an emphasis on training and development initiatives, including coaching and counseling direct reports in their performance and professional development.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines and goals
Education:
- BA/BS in Business, Operations, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience is desirable
Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in manufacturing operations with at least three years in supervisory roles
