Enterprise Role Overview:

Manages a team or multiple teams in a global markets operations support function in one or more product areas. Manages operations functions that typically have a high level of regulatory risk, monetary exposure and loss potential due to transaction size and daily production windows, which can impact client relationships. Manages daily activities ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards and adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements. Develops and implements new processes and procedures to improve operating efficiency, timeliness and workflow coordination. May have responsibility for or provide input on budget/expense management, reporting and forecasting. Requires full working knowledge of global markets operations functions and specific products/services managed. Responsible for decisions related to staffing and employee development. Interacts with business partners and their support groups (Compliance, Audit, Finance, etc.), as well as external clients. Employees in this role typically have prior line management experience and/or have prior operations management experience in the specific functional/product area managed.

LOB Specific Job Description:

Responsible for the day to day management of the funding of AMRS bank accounts for the broker/dealers, banks, and subsidiaries. This role is also responsible for the day to day management of the payments group supporting Prime Broker, GCAS, and GWIM clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Candidate will support Corporate Treasury to ensure the firm is properly funded across all AMRS currencies.
  • Developing and manage day-to-day operations within GFCM in order to research and resolve issues related to cash movements across all supported products.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal or external partners including: Trading, Sales, Corporate Treasury, various functional teams within Global Market Operations, and Agent Banks.
  • Represent AMRS Funding and cash management I initiatives
  • Manage the processing wire transfers, check disbursements, journal entries, FX trade orders, and funding movements across multiple firm cash payment systems
  • Assisting with Audit, OFAC, and other regulatory related inquiries.
  • Manage the investigation and resolution of reconciliation breaks aligned with the department.

  • Provide exposure to a variety of market products such as derivatives, equities, fixed income, secured funding vehicles, futures, options, and debt products.
  • Encourage participation in the bank’s diversity, social, and networking programs.
  • Facilitate your engagement with senior leaders across trading, sales, finance, and operational management.

Responsibilities

  • Support Corporate Treasury to ensure the firm is properly funded across all AMRS currencies.
  • Managing the cash projection process in conjunction with Treasury
  • Support the Prime Brokerage, GCAS, and GWIM businesses in relation to wire research and execution.
  • Represent AMRS funding and cash management operations in initiatives.

Requirements

  • Organized, detail oriented team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to present to an audience
  • Ability to successfully work under pressure and meet new challenges under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be able to manage own time and know when to escalate
  • Previous management/supervisory experience preferred.
