Overview of the Position Responsibilities: Our Operations Project Manager is expected to liaise with all service line Leaders - Sales, Marketing, Billing, Field, Procurement, Engineering and Network Operations to ensure operational readiness. What You Will Do:
  • Responsible for project kick-off, planning, the assignment of appropriate resources, and project close out.
  • Define project schedules, tasks and allocation of resources
  • Help create, define, monitor and manage project scope, goals, documentation and deliverables
  • Collect, analyze, and report out regularly, with accurate information, on technical Product, Engineering and Operations activities to help ensure the team is meeting deadlines, and working within budget.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and forecasting of project timelines, resources, and capital expenditures by partnering and communicating with internal cross-functional teams.
  • Accountable for communicating project status to key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Serve as the single point of contact at the project level for all meetings and calls, providing up-to-date and accurate information on project status, forecasts, and issue resolutions to the leadership teams.
  • Support Risk Management and Escalation of Project Delays
  • Manages and monitors budgeting, scheduling, and scoping tasks on multiple projects.
  • Daily and weekly reporting on project milestones and updates
  • Work Multiple Projects Simultaneously
  • Ability to travel to local markets and corporate locations on an as needed basis.
  • Foster partnership with key organizational contacts, stakeholders and sponsors
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Project Manager Certification preferred.
  • Previous Project Management experience with demonstrated success managing complex technical related projects.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions concisely, clearly, and effectively.
  • Ability to use advanced project management tools.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
  • Knowledge of, and experience in telecommunications related technologies and terms, including, but not limited to, Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial (HFC), Fiber, DOCSIS, Telephony (SIP, Hosted Voice, POTS), Analog/Digital and IP based Video, Customer Premise Equipment (CPE), Wi-Fi, computer networks and backbones. Operations related experience is a plus.
  • Effective time management with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • MS Office software, Great Plains software, Internet software, e-mail, order processing, inventory, and database software.
