We are currently in search of a positive and enthusiastic, Operations Supervisor I for our Valencia, CA Location.

The Operations Supervisor I position is responsible for managing various areas of operations and requires involvement in the oversight, approval and planning processes in the areas of Receiving, Pick and Pack, Orders Verification, Shipping, Returns and Staffing.

The responsibilities and duties include:

Accountable for warehouse operations, introduce and expand operation practice across the business to significantly improve productivity, quality, and profitability

• Liaison between Client Services and Operations to fulfill clients’ requests such as order status, upgraded shipments, and filling all orders within clients expected timeline
• Responsible for order control desk
• Participate in the strategic planning process of operations
• Identification, analysis and correction of problems
• Create and operate within budget
• Responsible for all Inbound/Outbound transportation
• Establish policies and procedures for all departments
• Responsible for safety training & guidelines
• Liaison with IT for implementation of business rules into the system
• Coordinate warehouse schedules and operations with the Operations Manager
• Direct warehouse personnel and activities to ensure compliance with client contracts
• Evaluate employee performance, recommendations, promotions and/or merit increases

• 
  Minimum two years warehouse and shipping supervisory experience
• Leadership skills
• Problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus but not a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Two years of college education
