Grosinger, Spigelman & Grey Eye Surgeons is seeking to fill a full-time Ophthalmic Assistant or Technician for our busy, multi-physician practice. We specialize in Cataracts, Laser Vision Correction, as well as general ophthalmology.

Job Details: Ophthalmic Scribes and Technicians are responsible for the direct-patient care. Scribes are responsible for accurate documentation of medical findings and communication between doctor and patient in Electronic Medical Records and assisting with procedures. They also help with medication and glasses prescriptions. Technicians should be able to perform skills which include, but are not limited to, checking visual acuity, manual lensometry, manual refraction, Goldmann appalanation and use of a slit-lamp to ensure adequate angle depth prior to dilation, perform pupil and extraocular muscle assessments. Knowledge of ancillary testing such as pachymetry, corneal topography, visual fields, fundus photography/optos, and OCTs would be a plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
