Seeking a Talented Ops Coordinator (Fully Remote, Contract)

We are an upstart video production company / ad agency based in Brooklyn that is growing fast, and we’re looking for a talented Ops Coordinator to become an integral part of our small but mighty team.

You will be the oil that keeps this agency running. You’ll have a bird’s-eye view of all projects that are happening across the company, and see the future of what’s coming our way. You’ll support us tactically with project management, production support, finance processes, travel plans, inbox help, personal needs and more to keep our team running smoother than ever before.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setting up + monitoring new projects using Monday.com and other tools
  • Processing payments and invoices
  • Supporting tactical production needs wherever our producers need help
  • Supporting our founders wherever they need help (inbox support, scheduling, personal needs)
  • Creating and updating SOPs and template documents for organization-wide processes
  • Supporting miscellaneous team and client needs

We cut our teeth in the world of short documentaries, building a fan base of over 250,000 Facebook fans, telling stories about the most inspiring everyday humans in NYC. These documentaries have been viewed over 40 million times worldwide.

ABOUT YOU

We’re seeking an Ops Coordinator to become an integral part of our team. You’ll thrive on working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and be comfortable occasionally forging your own path through ambiguity.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, project management using Monday.com, organizing systems, documenting processes, invoicing clients, onboarding and paying vendors, researching shoot locations and handling travel schedules, and other tactical functions throughout the business.

The successful candidate must possess the following experience/qualities:

  • highly responsive with excellent communication skills
  • exceptionally organized with extreme attention to detail
  • proactive with keen sense for anticipating situations before they happen
  • ability to go over/around/through roadblocks in order to complete projects on time
  • exceptional listening skills with the ability to understand the vision or task without the need to go over it numerous times
  • demonstrated critical thinking skills to find better ways to achieve results
  • experience in an Ops Coordinator or similar role for a digital agency

Position Details:

  • This is a fully remote position.
  • This position is a 1099 contractor position.
  • The position will start with 15-20 hrs per week and could grow to 30 hrs.
  • You must be able to work during 9 am - 5 pm Eastern time.
  • You must be able to join our daily (M-F) standup meetings at 9 am ET each day.
  • The pay rate is $23/hr USD.
  • We’re looking for someone to become a long-term team member.
