If you have read my job descriptions before, welcome back. If you are new, welcome to the party....you will notice that I like to add humor to my job descriptions...so you will see (hopefully) some chuckles as you read this.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tom Welke. I am Partner & VP at RSM Solutions, Inc. About 95% of my time is spent 'customer facing'. That being said, I am going to be far more interested in 'fit' than anything else...a fit for you and a fit for the client. This also means that there are no 'layers' between me and any of my clients as well..I am direct to all my clients. I have been recruiting tech talent for 19 years (it was 20 in January) and been in the tech sector since the mid 1990s, so my non existent hairline will tell you that I have been at this for a while.

This role is one where the social fit is just as important as the technical fit. What creates a good social fit, you ask? Well, I am glad you asked. Here are some characteristics:

• This is an environment where everyone gets along with one another and everyone helps one another. You won't hear anyone here say 'this isn't my job'. So, this means we are seeking an individual that does not have an ego the size of South America. If you are that individual that enjoys sharing their knowledge and truly enjoys working with end users, then we are right on track with what we need for this role.
• The hiring manager for this role, as well as this organization as a whole, has very low turnover. We are seeking individuals that want to stick around for a long time to come. This means that we are seeking candidates who do not just want to spend the next 6-9 months here...we are looking for a long term player who wants to stick around for the next several years.

This role is being done remotely, but we are only looking to work with candidates that are in the US Central or US East Coast time zone. I can only work with US Citizens or Green Card Holders for this role...I cannot work with H1, OPT or EAD Visa Holders.

This role is one where we are seeking someone with Oracle Demantra and Oracle ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning). They are on Version 7.1.3.5 of Demantra (but moving to Oracle Cloud) and version 12.1.3 of Demantra. They are on Oracle EBS (R12) as well. You will be working on a team size of 4 others. One of the nifty things about this firm is that they are migrating to Oracle Cloud as well. So, their is a lot of room for growth in this role. They are, essentially, redesigning Demantra and ASCP for Oracle Cloud. What is kind of nifty about this firm is that Oracle, itself, will reach out to this client to ask for advice and help as other firms move to Oracle Cloud as well.

This role is more of a functional role than a technical one. So, you will be playing a very key role in the functional side of Supply Chain and Demantra's and ASCP's function in helping that supply chain flow well. Can you look at the Supply Chain from a functional point of view and help to determine what materials should go where, determine how to accommodate increases in demand of specific products, and work with the supply base to increase flows of parts for assembly of those products that are showing increases in demand? If you can do this, you are spot on with what we are seeking in this role.

You will not see a ton of bullet points for this role...I am sure you have seen JD's with a zillion bullet points of 'need this' when really 1/2 of them actually exist. So, due to that, I will boil this down into the real gotta haves and the real keys to success in this role.

Here are some of the fun stuff you will be doing:

• Work with supply chain operations and identify gaps and improvement opportunities in the Supply Chain Planning process. This should also include designing (from a functional point of view) solutions using Oracle SCM Cloud, ASCP, Demantra, extensions, and other related systems.
• Recommend functional improvements to meet user requirements by performing required analysis and evaluation of options, alternatives, and system capabilities. This will also include that wonderful world of requirements gathering, documentation, process flow diagramming, and so on.

Here is what we are seeking:

• Deep techno-functional understanding of ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning) and Demantra modules with basic technical knowledge about applications and database related to these applications. We are looking for at least 4 years of experience with ASCP and Demantra.
• A keen understanding of the peripheral application/functions such Oracle Purchasing, Inventory, Sourcing, Bill Of Material and Planning attribute maintenance.
• This role is more functional than it is technical (around 60-70% functional and 30-40% technical)...but if you are a 50/50 split from a functional /technical percentages, that would be fine as well.
• Experience in Oracle SMC Cloud (Supply and Demand Planning) is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
