Seiler Instrument & Mfg. Co., Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-orientated Order Processing Specialist for our GeoDrones and Design Solutions Department. This position is based at our Itasca, IL, office and primarily manages the Seiler Geospatial unmanned equipment inventory, pulls orders, makes purchase orders, updates and tests equipment, and handles any returns for faulty units

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitors status of inventory and makes orders to ensure sufficient stock
• Receives new orders, pulls inventory, charges batteries, and updates firmware
• Tests equipment prior to sending to a customer
• Gathering items for distribution, processing materials per sales order requirements, packaging, shipping, and receiving business items and inventory.
• Creates technical cases with vendors if any issues arise with equipment, tracks results and manages return process
• Other support items as defined by the Director of Operations.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma; with some classwork in computers.
• Must complete employer paid specialty certification within 30 days of employment

Other Requirements:

• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and be comfortable with other computer systems including the internet.
• Experience with SalesForce and NetSuite are a plus.
• Employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
• Frequent requirement to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stand.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
