OUTREACH & ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST
$100 EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS

POSITION SUMMARY: The Outreach & Enrollment Specialist facilitates enrollment of eligible health center patients and service area residents into affordable health insurance coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplaces, Medicaid, or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- AA or BA degree; OR High School diploma/GED plus at least three years of human services, health care and/or business/office experience.
- Familiarity with Medicaid On-Site Application Assistance (MOSAA), Health Insurance Marketplaces, and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Navajo preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must successfully complete required federal and state health insurance enrollment assistance training programs and obtain related certifications within 90 days of employment and maintain current throughout employment.
SCREENING REQUIREMENTS:
- This position requires successful completion of a Criminal Records Check prior to providing NM Health Insurance Exchange (NMHIX) enrollment services.
