Overview

Mixbook is seeking an experienced, strategic, and hungry Outside Sales Manager to scale our fast-growing Volume Sales business. In this exciting new role, you will be crucial in scaling and rapidly expanding Mixbook's yearbook business. Leveraging your unique sales skills, you will develop deep relationships with schools (primarily pre-k to 8th grade) and acquire new accounts that will significantly impact Mixbook's revenue targets.

Location

This is a remote position with quarterly travel to the San Francisco Bay Area.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop the outside sales strategy for the yearbook business including identifying key accounts, building and maintaining a robust pipeline and creating pitch decks.
  • Own all aspects of the sales cycle and achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyze program effectiveness and define strategy for maximizing results.
  • Build strong relationships with schools and have a finger on the pulse of teacher, parent and student needs.
  • Create a compelling pitch deck for prospective yearbook customers.
  • Establish and maintain a strong pipeline of yearbook leads, and foster those relationships throughout the year.
  • Develop a sales strategy that supports our vision of Mixbook in every classroom.

What You’ll Need

  • 4+ years of experience in business development and/or sales (experience with B2B2C relationships highly preferred).
  • Experience working for an e-commerce company is a huge plus.
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills and proficient in G Suite.
  • Experience with sales and revenue management tools (we use Salesforce!).
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to external key stakeholders at all levels including executives.
  • Proven ability to successfully build strong relationships with customers.
  • Experience working directly with schools (preschools, K-6, charter schools, private academies, etc.) or knowledge of the market trends is nice to have.
  • Experience drafting and interpreting contracts is a plus.
