Procare Home Medical is currently seeking team players with strong customer service and organization skills to join our exceptional team at our Anchorage location. Packaging and Delivery staff are referred to in house as Distribution Technicians. Our staff enjoy working with people, take pride in giving outstanding customer service, and represent Procare as a customer service agent to deliver Home Medical equipment and supply orders. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to help members of our community receive the equipment and supplies they need and provide repair and maintenance on equipment provided to our clients. Our Distribution Technicians deliver equipment and supplies all over the Anchorage bowl. You will work in coordination with other Procare departments to ensure our customers’ needs are met at the highest level of care. Compensation is based on experience, starting $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. Qualifications
- High organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a busy environment to achieve maximum productivity
- Ability to work effectively as a team player
- Capacity to work safely in a warehouse
- Ability to drive safely and follow delivery routes
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn software programs
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Excellent customer relations, communication, and teaching skills (Required)
- Two years of HME/DME experience (Preferred)
- Stockroom experience (Preferred)
- Clean Driver's record, past 36 months (Required)
- Alaska Driver's license (Required)
Other Requirements
- Work of medium physical demand, frequently requiring lifting and carrying items weighing up to 75 pounds. Frequent stooping and bending when handling equipment and supplies. Regularly requires sitting, standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to withstand working in an open environment, where both heat and cold may be extreme.
- Good fine motor dexterity and cognitive ability for driving and command of the senses to a level appropriate for driving and instruction to customers, including vision, hearing and speech.
