A Packaging Technician job in Clayton, NC is currently available with a key pharmaceutical client. To be considered for this role you will have at least a high school diploma or GED with knowledge in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for perform various tasks associated with the packaging of biological products including but not limited to the set-up, operation, general maintenance of various equipment used in the Packaging Department, visual inspection, rejection, and packaging of final products. Packagaing Technician Job Duties:
- Perform paced inspections of final container products for multiple categories of
- Document job tasks as required on the Batch Production Record (BPR), Standard
- Meet and maintain visual inspection re-certification requirements through knowledge
standards.
- Adhere to all company safety and cGMP policies and practices.
- Perform housekeeping tasks and maintain department housekeeping at an optimal
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma or GED required. Must also have basic mathematics, computer and organizational skills.
- Prior knowledge of cGMP, BPR experience highly preferred.
- Must have ability to follow oral and written instructions with a strong attention to detail while being proactive and results oriented.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise manipulate objects up to 55 pounds in weight, and/or lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise manipulate objects up to 25 pounds in weight frequently or continuously. May move objects and/or materials using carts, lift trucks or pallet jacks.
