Job description

As a Medical Assistant, you will be part of our health team, providing administrative support alongside physicians and other professional staff. You will help our doctors treat patients by conducting basic clinical tasks, like taking vital signs and documenting patient information. You must have a high level of customer service to communicate clearly with patients. To succeed, you should have good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, nurses and other medical professionals. An understanding of medical terminology is essential because you will need to follow our medical staff’s instructions and perform tasks accordingly. Ultimately, the Medical Assistant is tasked with helping our doctors to provide high quality patient care in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the medical examination of patients (e.g. history taking, physical examination and vital sign checking) and provide patient education.
• Prepare exam or treatment rooms, patient and equipment for the medical staff.
• Prepare specimen for laboratory analysis.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records.
• Identify and communicate abnormal test results or prescribed treatments to the doctor.(medicine, Surgical, Radiology).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
