Position Summary Details

This Parking Enforcement Attendant is responsible for various duties within transient, reserved and off-site parking locations throughout downtown Youngstown. The attendant will be responsible for patrolling to ensure vehicles are properly parked, counting parked vehicles, and writing and issuing violation warnings to customers violating ABM policies throughout the duration of scheduled shift. The attendant must be flexible to complete various tasks and work in various downtown locations assigned by the Operations Manager.

Pay: $15 to $16/Bi-Weekly

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm – Special Events/Weekend shifts are Mandatory.

Essential Functions

• Approaches and greets all customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Uses respectful communication to address customer questions, problems, and concerns.
• Report any known accidents observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Patrol transient, reserved, and off site parking to ensure vehicles are parked and ticketed properly,
• Issues and/or collects visitor parking tickets.
• Matches visitor ticket to parking rate schedule.
• Completes lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.
• Safely utilize parking equipment.
• Acts as flagger to direct traffic inside and outside of the parking lot.
• Removes trash and maintains cleanliness of parking lot.
• Immediately reports any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
• Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to walk or stand most or all scheduled shifts
• Ability to work in the various outside temperatures for duration of shift.
