The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task, prioritize their workload, and work without direct supervision. The position works under minimal supervision and is responsible for handling parking complaints that are received from the department of public safety communications and through the parking enforcement e-mail and voicemail box. The candidate will also be responsible for responding back to the complainant when appropriate. In addition, the candidate will take a pro-active approach to locating and handling parking violations. Previous experience in a public sector or law enforcement agency is a plus, but not required.

REQUIREMENTS: This is a part-time assignment. The successful candidate will work three, 5 hours shifts per week with the opportunity for extra hours.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: All employees considered for hire by the Police Department are subject to a polygraph examination and a thorough background investigation. The applicant must be able to work outside in various climates.
