Part Time Administrative Assistant – Fergus Falls
Viking Coca-Cola is seeking an organized and detail-oriented candidate to fulfill a part time clerical support role in our Fergus Falls location.
Essential job duties will be:
- Assisting customers and employees by answering questions by mail, fax, phone, and in person.
- Use of office machines such as computers, copiers, fax, multi-line phone, currency counters
- Entering data using computers for inventory control, account maintenance, generating invoices.
- Supporting operations of the office including ordering supplies, filing and other tasks as needed.
- Counting money and recording data to reconcile route collections and prepare bank deposits.
- Completing accounts payable and accounts receivable paperwork.
- Completing petty cash and purchase order transactions.
- Prompting workplace safety by ensuring rules are followed and updating safety information.
- Completing weekly audits to ensure first aid kits and safety equipment are stocked.
- Scheduling random drug tests along with FROI doctor appointments.
- Receiving and distribution of incoming mail
- Assisting with new hire orientations
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants will possess the following:
- Basic math skills
- Proficiency in 10-key functions
- Experience with Micro Soft Office Suite products
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds in order to count money bags for deposits
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner with employees and customers
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment with frequent interruptions
- Demonstrated organizational skills
The position works primarily in an office setting, but may occasionally have to be in a warehouse environment.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in a clerical role preferred
