We are a professional and well-established pet care company looking for team members to fill the following part-time positions in Guilford:

M-F Dog Walker - dog walks occur during the day and are usually back-to-back within a time block.

Nights/weekends pet sitter (NOT EVERY EVENING and NOT ALL DAY DURING WEEKENDS) - pet visits occur at different times throughout the day, but this job gives you a flexible schedule that allows you to enjoy your own time. The size and flexibility of our company and staff also allows us to share visits/shifts amongst the team.

We provide on-the-job training, as well as continued support and mentoring.

Requirements:

• LOVE both dogs and cats
• Have experience with dogs and their behavior (your own counts!)
• Be professional, neat and tidy in clients' homes
• Be able to work independently and take initiative
• Have a smartphone and be tech-savvy (we use a fun & easy app for visits!)
• Have excellent communication skills & grammar
• Own a reliable vehicle with valid license, registration & insurance; have a willingness to transport dogs in said vehicle
• Be local to the community
• Be Pet CPR/First-Aid certified or willing to take a class
• Be able and willing to work with us for at least a year (hopefully longer!). The pets will want to develop a long-term relationship with you.
• Pass a criminal / background check

YOU MUST LIVE LOCAL TO THE TOWN(S) WHERE JOB IS LOCATED as it requires travel between visits. Candidates must be willing and able to drive and work in all types of weather. Must be willing to work year-round. Must be comfortable interacting with customers, entering customers' homes and handling alarm systems.

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff members are expected to wear a mask when entering clients' homes regardless of vaccination status. Masks and hand sanitizer can be provided if necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
