Fortis Ind. dba LTS, Inc. is interviewing for a part-time Grounds Maintenance Laborer for our contract at the Farmers Branch, TX Federal Building.
Key responsibilities associated with this position include but may not be limited to.
Key responsibilities associated with this position include but may not be limited to.
- Cuts lawn using hand, power, or riding mower; trims and edges around walks, flower beds, walls, etc.
- Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs; prunes shrubs and various trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools.
- May perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds maintenance.
- May perform routine laboring and maintenance duties when grounds keeping work has been completed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in Grounds Maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment and landscaping
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Must pass both a detail background check and a pre-employment drug screening prior to hire
This is a Union Position and Joining the Union is required. Union Health & Welfare Funds are in addition to the wage and will be deposited into a 401K account.
20 hrs. a week and times are flexible.
