Jonathan's Landing Golf Club is looking to hire a Part-Time Hair Stylist, as an Independent Contractor, for their Hair Salon.
Approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a commission only position.
OVERVIEW:
The Hair Stylist is responsible for cutting, shampooing, and styling of customers' hair. The Hair Stylist also provides services such as scalp treatments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consults with the client to access their needs.
- Performs cutting, styling and coloring of hair.
- Performs grooming services, such as scalp treatments.
- Ensures tools are sterile and in good working condition.
- Maintains an adequate stock at the salon.
- Maintains logs of expenses and income on a daily basis.
- Strive to increase the Club's salon customer base.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
SKILLS:
- Have an artistic mind to create new designs.
- Be fast with your hands.
- Be prepared to stand for long hours; physical fitness is necessary.
- Have patience and good humor.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Be cheerful.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma.
- Certificate course in hair styling, and cosmetology is a plus.
- Knowledge of Jack Winn Pro preferred.
