Job description

We are hiring for a part-time Showroom Stock Associate for our new SC Home store in Austin, TX. Our SC Home Austin store is located at 9900 RM 620, Austin, TX 78726. This position is paid hourly and is eligible for an annual incentive program. Position will work between 24 - 28 hours per week on average.
What you do:

• Receives and inspects deliveries.
• Tags floor stock.
• Ensures all merchandise is assembled and in satisfactory condition prior to delivery.
• Assists with merchandise returns.
• Reports any quality issues to store management.
• Assists in floor plan set of the sales floor.
• Ensures 3-day completion for stock orders to be received, tagged, and placed on the floor.

What you bring:

• Some experience in warehouse or furniture delivery operations preferred.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Good attendance and demonstrated work ethic are required.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good computer skills – knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred.
• Ability to use general technical equipment such as phone, tablet, iPad, desktop, laptop, etc.
• Problem-solving skills and a positive, professional demeanor are required.
