We are seeking an experienced and responsible Back Parts Counter Specialist who is passionate about customer service. The successful candidate will be required to assist in ordering and organizing inventory, preparing paperwork for necessary orders and restocking products. Accountabilities

  • Achieving department goals and budget through the active selling of parts.
  • Communicating inventory needs to parts lead, so that we can maintain the highest level of customer service.
  • Help drive efficient service flow through timely parts lookup and ordering. Backorder follow-up and overall communication with the service department.
  • Provides amazing customer service with each customer interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Order Parts for all shop/field technicians
  • Check with Technicians at 11:00 and 3:00 to make sure parts requests are processed and pulled or parts are ordered to make the vendor cutoff times
  • Check that all options have been exhausted before notifying service department that parts are on backorder.
  • Follow up on all backorders for work orders and notify the shop of all backorders once identified. Weekly after that.
  • Quote all parts to shop/field technicians Includes: Work order, Triage and 5 in 5.
  • Provide quotes on electronic form for easy tracking in dealer business system
  • Work with service office to make sure quotes are completed and parts pricing/availability is correct.
  • Rotates lunches with the front counter team.
  • Fills in as additional support for phone coverage and returning messages as needed – Including electronic communications.
  • Receipt and process incoming orders.
  • Monitors stock orders and backorders to make sure orders are receipted and are current.
  • Pulls transfers daily. All transfers placed before 4:30 will be pulled the same day. Transfers from 4:31 to 5:00 pm will be pulled on the same day if the requesting store calls.
  • Cycle Counts/Inventory
  • Surplus returns- Processed within the required time limit.
  • Keep the stockroom and shop counter area clean and orderly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by parts lead.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in a parts department preferably agriculture equipment dealership (Case IH or New Holland preferred).
  • High school diploma or GED minimum, Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, with extensive experience in CIH eParts, PartSmart, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work weekend & evening as required based on season.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
