Delta Apparel is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join it's growing team in our Duluth, GA administrative office. This position reports to the Manager of Payroll. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering a full-cycle multi-state hourly biweekly payroll and salaried semimonthly payroll. We need a results oriented self-starter able to work in a team environment with strong follow-up and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the timely and efficient processing of a biweekly hourly payroll
• Assist managers with time and attendance procedures including approvals and changes
• Follow-up with supervisors and managers on missing or incomplete documentation
• Import time and pay files into ADP WFN ( Time, Commission, Bonus)
• Assist with identifying and resolving payroll and HRIS system discrepancies
• Maintain accurate payroll files, procedures and payment back up for each pay cycle
• Respond to employees and management regarding payroll inquiries
• Answer garnishment and child support order notices in a timely manner
• Assist with setting up multi state garnishments, tax liens and child support orders
• Assist with day-to-day payroll administration
• Assist with ensuring final pay records are in compliance as per standard operating procedures
• Monthly and ad hoc reporting
• Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data
• Other special projects as needed

Desired Skills:

• Associate Degree in business or accounting
• 1-3 years minimum of full cycle payroll processing
• ADP WFN experience is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player with superior customer service and time management skills
• Solid knowledge and understanding of payroll processes and best practices
