Part-Time Hours - 24 hours per week
(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
Job Summary
This position is engaged in the preparation, documentation, and processing of DSP (Independent Contractor) Compensation.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Processes the day-to-day operations with Payroll, Accounting and DSP (Independent Contractors) teams to assure a smooth workflow
- Maintains individual DSP (Independent Contractors) records
- Maintains DSP (Independent Contractors) electronic payment records and processes, including issuing of pay cards
- Performs regular compensation maintenance on a weekly schedule
- Investigates and reconciles errors and makes appropriate adjustments
- Creates and runs routine and custom reports.
- Performs routine audits of contracts and/or pay data
- Addresses and resolves questions with DSPs (Independent Contractors) regarding amounts reported on compensation statements and 1099 forms
- Assist in Employee Payroll processing as needed

- Working knowledge of 1099 forms
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook and database concepts.
- Some knowledge of all child support, garnishments, tax liens and levies

Required Physical Abilities
- Sedentary Work. Lifting 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and or carrying articles such as paperwork and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one that involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
- Prepare moderately light packages for shipment
