South Metro Accounting Firm seeking a detail oriented individual to support our successful, growing payroll business on a full time or part time basis. We cater to emerging, micro and small business owners and entrepreneurs by providing a full-service payroll offering including Direct Deposit, Tax Filings, Tax Payments, Benefits Deductions, Retirement Plan & HSA contributions and more.

You will help serve clients and continue our reputation for great service and quality results through the following major responsibilities:

• Prepare payrolls accurately and on-time for assigned clients
• Prepare assigned quarterly and annual payroll filings accurately and timely
• Perform customer service functions for assigned payroll accounts including answering client questions, addressing client urgent matters or researching necessary items for resolution
• Other duties as required which can include client tax season check in/out, answering phones, filing etc.

This can be a great part-time (20-30 hours per week) job for somebody who wants a challenge and extra income but not ready to be full-time.

You must be highly reliable, punctual and detail oriented. You should enjoy accomplishing tasks and goals and be able to stay focused on your objectives as in payroll we must be right the first time, every time. Previous payroll experience is preferred but not required if you have commensurate qualifications and experience.

Wage-$22-$24/hour based on experience

Ideally, this candidate will office out of our New Prague location but for the right candidate, we would consider our Lakeville or Apple Valley locations.
